
Frequently asked questions
You will receive invoices for all work that Hawker Garden Services carries out. You may receive any or all of the following types of invoice:
Deposit Invoice - An invoice for 50% of your total quoted price
Balance Invoice - The remaining 50% of your total quoted price
Materials Invoice - An invoice for the total cost of any materials that are needed for your job that need to be purchased upfront (this also counts as a deposit invoice)
Regular Gardening Maintenance or Lawn Mowing - An invoice for regular garden maintenance, this will be sent in the evening following your appointment.
Please see payment terms below for when an invoice has to be paid.
New customers will have to pay a 50% deposit to secure a Hawker Garden Services Booking. If you need to cancel this appointment then the deposit is Non-refundable.
All invoices have to be paid by the date as noted on the invoice.
New Customers - 50% deposit of total invoice (all services)
Regular Garden Maintenance - within 48 hours of an appointment
Projects - Materials costs upfront and labour within 24 hours of completion.
Regular Lawn Mowing - within 48 hours of an appointment
We can accept any of the following payment options. Cash or Bank Transfers are our preferred payment options.
Cash on the day
Bank Transfer using the Bank Account details on your invoice
Credit Card - by following the Link on your invoice
Debit Card - by following the Link on your invoice
We can accept PayPal transfers on request
We DO NOT accept cheques
Upon successful payment you will receive a receipt from Hawker Garden Services.
We can move appointments where possible, but if an appointment needs to be cancelled then where a 50% deposit has been paid then this would be Non-refundable. You would need to give us at least 24 hours notice by either email, WhatsApp, text or phone call.

If you have a garden waste bin then we will utilise this as much as possible. If the bin becomes full during a visit, then we will remove small amounts of garden waste such as grass clippings. If there is a large amount of waste then we will bag this up, ready to be emptied into the bin on the next visit. Where garden waste removal has been included within a quote then we will dispose of this correctly at Local Recycling Facilities.
